October has come and gone and so has the holiday of Halloween. I never know how much emphasis I should place on this holiday but the kids sure know how to get excited about the day. As a teacher, I always dreaded this day because I knew not much would get accomplished on that day. We always said the day after was almost as bad because the sugar high is wearing off and the kids are exhausted. Anyways, this year was no different and Natalie was more excited about it this year so lots of energy in our house the last couple of days. Tyler was our ever quick Spiderman, Natalie was our mermaid princess and Bryson was the puppy dog! We went to some friend's neighborhood and went trick or treating. They had fun but were more interested in going back and playing and seeing the fire. Tyler woke up this morning and asked is it still Halloween. I replied nope, it's over. Then he yelled yipee, now it is almost Thanksgiving and then CHRISTMAS! He is always looking for the next party time. I think he may just enjoy the leading up to the holiday more than the actual day but he has fun while waiting and waiting! Here are some memories from Halloween 2008.

Our friends as we get ready to go out on our mission for more candy!

This is the life... what puppy dog can boast that a mermaid princess carried him in a wagon!

That is so funny that people are going to be giving me lots of candy just because I am dressed up in this silly costume!

Love the new look of your blog! Very nice. Cute kids, too. :)
You have an impressive list of international visitors to your blog via your Live Feed. Do tell!
Thanks... I didn't like the other one..it was too hard for me to read... this one I know will have to be changed but that is fine.. gives me something to do :-) Not sure about the international visitors.. I have several friends who are missionaries but not in those areas. I think when I was playing around last night, I had hit the yes button to display my blog on the blogger.com site which was no before so I changed it back... so we will see if it keeps up...
